Meet Your Eastern Cape Paediatric Endocrinologist
Based in Greenacres – Dr Melezwa Ndamase-Nyokana
Dr Melezwa Ndamase-Nyokana is a highly qualified paediatric endocrinologist and metabolism subspecialist dedicated to providing specialised care to children and adolescents in the Eastern Cape.
Her medical journey began at Walter Sisulu University, where she obtained her MBChB in 2010. Her passion for child health led her to qualify as a Paediatrician through the College of Medicine South Africa in 2019, followed by a Master’s Degree in Paediatrics from Walter Sisulu University in 2020.
Her subspecialist training was completed at the prestigious Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, where she became a Fellow in Paediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism. In 2023, she was awarded her Certificate in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the College of Medicine of South Africa.
Committed to ongoing growth and academic excellence, Dr Ndamase-Nyokana was also admitted into the MPhil (Master of Philosophy) programme at the University of Cape Town in 2023.
